Taiwan Trip
Day 1On 5th Jan 2008, 2 super nice gals left Singapore to Taiwan for holiday. They stayed in taiwan for 9 days and all their colleagues miss them till crazy. haha!
Jo's dad was sweet. He came to my house to pick me up to go to the airport at 6am. Immediately after we have reached the terminal 2, we went to the SIA counter to check in. Before we went in, we had our breakfast at Mac. hehe this is the first time im travelling to oversea via Air so excited man!

hehe The flight took off at around 9am from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2. meal and drinks were provided in the plane. hehe e food was avg but i really like the butter and dessert. omg yummy!! hahaha. drank quite alot of oranges in the plane, so hahaha gonna visited the toilet. I was kidding with Jo, "we release ourselve in the plane, does planes also release the urine and shits in the air??" hahaha!!!!

Our luggages
The flight was less than 4hrs and we reached taiwan taoyuan international airport around 12.30pm. The process to go through custom was super long. The authority wasnt that fast and we are wondering, why do they need so many counters for their locals when there's no single locals insight. omb! nvm. so after we got through the immigration counter, we went to collect our luggage before we meet up with the tour agent representative. waited at the airport for quite some time, cos they are still waiting for 1 pair to turn up. while waiting, i went to buy sandwishes. cant believe it lar, the sandwishes was super huge!! they combine 5 slides of bread with fillings inbetween. though i was feeling rather hungry at that time, i can only finish half of it.
by 3plus we reached our hotel, Kilin, somewhere near Ximending area. the hotel on average is okay lar, just that the location wasnt that fantastic!

hahaha so after we have put down our luggage, we went to ximending see see shop shop. plenty of stuffs to buy there lei, but it's our first day there, we dun really dare to spend much if not, we might not have sufficient for the rest of the days. so we planned to spend watever we have left on the last day there. wahaha!

ximending abit too big and messy le lar and we keep on walk to the same place again and again. haha u can see alot of illegal food store holders pushing their carts running here and there. super dangerous lar! haiz. we had our dinner at KFC cos we really dunno wat to eat for dinner. haha their fastfood is 3 storey high, so if you are unable to find seats in level 2, you will have to carry e food to other level.

around 8, we decided to go back to hotel le but that din end our night there. haha we went back to leave our stuff in the hotel and went to snake alley night market. in general, it's like pasar malan lar just that their night markets were so much bigger and better than ours. saw quite a few nice sneakers, wanna buy but the thought of having the need to bring it around for the rest of my trip, haha kills the idea. shall stop the typing here, will let the pictures continues the story.
